In the SCI-tive Dual, physoxic or hypoxic cell culture work, incubation and micoroscopic or other experimentss can be performed. The asymmetrical SCI-tive Dual consists of two differently sized chambers and offers sufficient space for a wide variety of instruments: centrifuges, microscopes, cell imaging systems or other analytical instruments.
The right chamber is narrower and not as high as the left chamber, while the left chamber is not as deep as the right one. The higher left chamber of the asymmetrical SCI-tive Dual is therefore ideally suited to operate larger inverse or atomic force microscopes under hypoxia.With the SCI-tive Dual as double incubator, different gas atmospheres can be run in parallel. The two chambers are connected by a temperature controlled air lock, through which the material can be quickly transferred in and out within 1 minute.
